Regional Full Time Float PSW - Guaranteed 80 Hours Bi-weekly
Shift Schedule Options:
· Hour Split Shifts: 7am-12pm and 5pm-10pm
Locations of Work: Niagara Region. MUST be able to commute within the Niagara Region on a daily basis, including St. Catharines, Thorold, Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Welland, Grimsby, Lincoln, and West Lincoln.
In this Float position, you are required to be available and ready to accept work during your shift times. Clients will be assigned to your schedule in the days and/or hours leading up to your shift.
MUST have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, and a minimum of one year of PSW experience in the community and home care sector.
Wage: $25.66 per hour + enhanced travel reimbursement

The PSW Role:
Bayshore PSWs provide personal care services to clients living in the community. With this support and assistance, Bayshore clients are able to remain in the comfort of their own home, enhancing their quality of life, dignity, and independence.
Our PSWs assist clients with activities of daily living, according to the care plan, as well as provide cognitive, social and/or emotional support, and complete other assigned tasks such as meal preparation, laundry and monitoring household safety.
Client Care plans may include skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, exercise, feeding, special diets, assistance with oxygen administration and medication reminders.
PSWs perform specialized client specific procedures with clinical training and support, completed care and observations of client conditions are documented.
· Valid driver's license (G or G2)
· Reliable vehicle and ability to drive independently
· One year of PSW experience in the community and home care sector
· Able to work every other weekend
· Able to provide a workday availability that fits our client service needs
· PSW diploma or equivalent (DSW, Nursing Student, first year completed)
