About
The Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility at The Morrison Communities is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Nurse Manager to join our leadership team. This full‑time, exempt position plays a key role in guiding nursing staff, advancing clinical education, and ensuring consistent staffing to provide the highest level of care for our residents.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Provide on‑unit clinical leadership and support to nursing staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
* Mentor, coach, and conduct real‑time troubleshooting to promote quality care and staff confidence.
* Assist with resident assessments, changes in condition, and coordination of care with providers and the interdisciplinary team.
* Develop and maintain the master schedule for nursing staff, ensuring optimal coverage and balanced workloads.
* Lead staff development through onboarding, skills validation, in‑service education, and partnership training programs with local schools.
* Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) projects to enhance resident outcomes and survey readiness.
* Promote regulatory compliance, safety standards, and infection prevention practices across all nursing units.
* Participate in on‑call rotation and collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary leaders.
*Qualifications*
* Active and unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire (LPNs with leadership experience may be considered).
* Minimum 2 years of nurse management experience in a skilled nursing facility.
* Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to change.
