Mechanical Design Engineer
to join their Design Department. In this role, you will provide engineering support and manage projects for a diverse range of products within their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing and managing multiple ongoing projects.
Producing detailed designs, drawings and part lists for the production team.
Collaborating with customers throughout the design and production phases to secure approvals and sign‑offs as required.
Developing documents such as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Collaborating with purchasing and accounts departments to produce part lists.
Candidate Requirements
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software.
Ability to take a design from concept through to the final manufactured product.
Experience in thermoplastic structural design, sheet‑metal design, welded metal structures and basic pneumatic systems.
