Mazco Recruitment Ltd is a specialist recruitment partner to the UK's precision engineering and CNC machining sector. Founded by industry professionals, we work closely with high‑end machining businesses across aerospace, automotive, medical, defence, and advanced manufacturing.
As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our presence across England, focusing on selling our precision machining recruitment services to new and existing clients.
The Role As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships within the CNC and precision engineering sector. This is a field‑based role, predominantly covering England, with the flexibility to work from home when not visiting clients.
You will attend our Scottish head office once per month for a management and strategy meeting; the remainder of your time will be spent on the road or working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within CNC machining and precision engineering
Build long‑term relationships with manufacturing clients and key decision‑makers
Promote Mazco Recruitment's specialist CNC recruitment solutions
Work closely with recruitment consultants to ensure excellent delivery and client satisfaction
Manage and grow a profitable client portfolio
Represent Mazco Recruitment professionally at client meetings and industry events
About You
Proven experience in business development within CNC machining, precision engineering, or manufacturing recruitment
Demonstrable track record of winning new business and growing accounts
Strong understanding of CNC manufacturing environments (turning, milling, multi‑axis, precision machining)
Self‑motivated, commercially astute, and comfortable working autonomously
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Full UK driving licence
