Operations Manager
Role Purpose
The Operations Manager ensures that projects, people, and processes run smoothly, efficiently, and consistently across the company. This role strengthens organizational discipline, improves performance, and drives scalable systems that support growth. The Operations Manager is a key integrator between field operations, project management, preconstruction, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery Excellence
Oversee project execution to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget standards are consistently met.
- Implement systems and procedures for planning, communication, and accountability.
Support direct reports and foremen in resolving constraints, ensuring commitments are clear and honored.
Operational Systems & Process Improvement
Build and refine repeatable processes (field operations, project controls, handoffs, reporting, etc.).
- Standardize workflows to reduce variability and rework.
Track KPIs and operational metrics; drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Team Leadership & Development
Provide coaching, support, and accountability for field and project teams.
- Lead with humility—listening first, seeking input, and elevating others.
Support workforce development through training programs, performance reviews, and leadership development.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Act as the connective tissue between departments, ensuring communication flows clearly and commitments are met.
- Facilitate preconstruction-to-field handoffs, weekly project scheduling meetings, and post-project reviews.
Align operations with company strategy and ensure standards remain consistent across all jobs.
Shop & Maintenance Oversight
Oversee shop operations, including equipment storage, tooling, fabrication support, inventory management, and shop workflow.
- Supervise the maintenance program for all equipment, vehicles, and tools—ensuring assets are serviced, safe, and ready for deployment.
- Drive preventive maintenance schedules and track equipment usage, uptime, and lifecycle costs.
- Ensure efficient logistics for equipment dispatching, returns, repairs, and asset tracking.
Uphold safety standards, documentation, and organizational discipline within all shop and maintenance operations.
Safety & Compliance
Promote a culture of safety and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Review incident reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented with integrity.

Build scalable operational systems that prepare the company for increased volume.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively solve them before they impact growth.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120, $150,000.00 per year
