Duties

• Assist with the installation of plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
• Support the reading and interpretation of blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate system setup
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, threading, and assembling pipes
• Help with welding tasks and pipe threading to ensure secure connections and system integrity
• Participate in remodeling, maintenance, and repair projects by supporting skilled tradespeople
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site
• Follow safety protocols diligently while working with HVAC components, plumbing fixtures, and construction materials

Experience

• Basic knowledge of construction practices and familiarity with construction site environments
• Experience or coursework related to plumbing or mechanical systems is a plus
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, or carpentry is desirable
• Ability to read basic blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning HVAC systems and pipe threading techniques
• Prior maintenance person or remodeling experience can be advantageous but is not required
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system layout
