We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation to ensure timely service.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during service hours.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
• Utilize various kitchen tools, including knives, to prepare ingredients accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to the kitchen manager.
• Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred, particularly in fine dining establishments.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation and menu planning.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the dietary department.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen environment.
