Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing learning environment. The ideal candidate will create engaging activities, foster positive relationships, and promote early childhood development through innovative teaching methods. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
  • Support children's individual needs, including those with special educational requirements
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote effective communication and collaboration
  • Ensure health and safety policies are consistently followed to maintain a secure setting for all children
  • Support children's emotional well-being by encouraging independence and resilience
  • Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor play

Skills

  • Strong understanding of early childhood development principles and best practices in early education
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
  • Creativity in designing engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations in early years settings
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred but not mandatory; experience working with young children is highly valued

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering early childhood development in a supportive and dynamic environment. All roles are paid positions, including internships.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.54 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
