Your Team
The ASX cloud service team manages secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions for ASX's critical systems. They focus on architecture, cost optimization, automation, and compliance to ensure high availability, resilience, and regulatory adherence
Your responsibilities
- Own product vision, strategy, and multi‑quarter roadmap for AWS platform capabilities (e.g., Landing Zone, EKS, Serverless enablement, CI/CD, Observability, IAM/policy-as-code, Networking).
- Maintain a data‑driven backlog prioritized by impact, risk, and effort.
- Translate business needs into epics/features; write acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
- Lead discovery and validation (user research, proofs of concept, A/B where applicable).
- Manage financials: OpEx/CapEx planning, unit economics, pricing/chargeback, FinOps guardrails.
- Publish product documentation, service catalog entries, runbooks, and technical standards.
- Establish release calendars across squads; coordinate release notes and cut‑overs.
- Drive release readiness: scope freeze, dependency mapping, non‑prod validation, risk & rollback plans.
- Drive release consumption by workloads on cloud platform.
- Orchestrate pre‑/post‑release activities (change records, CAB engagement, stakeholder comms).
Your experience and qualifications
Must have
- 10+ years in technology delivery, with 5+ years in product or release management roles.
- Proven leadership of AWS platform initiatives at enterprise scale (multi account, Landing Zone, EKS, serverless).
- Strong hands on familiarity with:
- AWS services and their lifecycles
- DevSecOps & CI/CD pipelines, repositories and practices
- IaC for terraform modular patterns
- Observability & SRE for AWS services
- Security & compliance in a highly regulated financial services organisation
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex releases across multiple teams with strong risk controls.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and data driven decision making.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe
- ITIL 4 Foundation or higher
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
