Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including tables, utensils, and service stations
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries or concerns to ensure a positive experience

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cash handling and billing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
• Basic understanding of food preparation and serving techniques
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
