What You'll Do
As a
Mechanical/Electrical Engineer specializing in MEP design
, you'll contribute to the full project lifecycle — from concept through construction.
- Perform engineering calculations and design Electrical, or HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projects
- Develop drawings, models, and specifications using
Revit and/or AutoCAD - Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems
- Conduct site visits, field surveys, and construction administration duties
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support contractors during project execution
- Stay current with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices
- Assist senior engineers and project managers in delivering projects on time and within budget
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline - Strong professional experience
in MEP building systems design (minimum) - Proficiency in
Revit and/or AutoCAD
required - Familiarity with building codes, ASHRAE standards, NEC, and other applicable design standards
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred
