Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment to support our food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience or interest in working within a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or catering setting. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable kitchen experience and develop skills in food handling, cleaning, and basic food preparation.

Duties

• Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service hours
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or assembling ingredients under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations and floors
• Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and kitchen supplies according to health standards
• Support catering events or banquet setups by providing necessary dishware and assisting with cleanup afterward
• Follow all food handling safety protocols to ensure hygiene and compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service periods

Skills

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
• Excellent organizational skills to manage cleaning schedules and maintain hygiene standards
