Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to effectively assess the needs of patients, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate the care given. Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. Provides didactic and hands-on education to support staff development and enhance clinical performance.

- Required: Neonatal Intensive Care experience

Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri
- Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days
- Required: Must complete department specific certifications within the designated time frame
Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Respiratory Program or Nursing Program Preferred: MS Degree in an educational field, one of the health science disciplines, or a field related to the work at hand. Preference will be given to applicants whose bachelors or master's degree(s) are in Healthcare, Organizational Development, Adult Education and/or a related field. Experience: Required: Evidence of successful training and/or instructional design experience as well as experience designing/delivering/evaluating curriculum. Required: Five years healthcare and/or corporate education experience Preferred: Clinical background Preferred: Seven years healthcare and/or corporate education experience. Required: Experience designing/delivering/evaluating curriculum. Preferred: Experience with technical training, soft skills (i.e. customer service) and/or clinical programs. Skills: Demonstrates self-starter and proactive practices. Evidence of ability to stimulate an awareness of and involvement in education for self, staff, and other health professionals and history of developing others. Able to manage multiple assignments/manage projects. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Missouri State License for Respiratory and RRT Credential from NBRC, OR Missouri RN license
