This position is NOT sales or marketing, but in-house administrative work.
Key Responsibilities
Agent Contracting & Appointments
- Process incoming contracting requests from agents and internal staff.
- Send contracting packets/forms for various life and health insurance carriers.
- Review completed contracting documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Submit contracting to carriers and track progress through completion.
- Maintain ongoing communication with carrier representatives.
Follow-Up & Communication
- Contact agents regarding missing information, outstanding requirements, or necessary corrections.
- Send reminders to agents for incomplete or pending contracting items.
- Provide general agent support, including answering questions and directing them to the correct resources.
Tracking & Documentation
- Log contracting requests and completed appointments in company systems (CRM, Zoho, trackers, etc.).
- Maintain accurate digital records for all agent appointments and contracting files.
- Ensure compliance with carrier-specific guidelines and state regulations.
Reporting & Administrative Operations
- Generate internal reports as needed (contracting status, outstanding items, production summaries, etc.).
- Assist with general administrative tasks including scanning, uploading, filing, and form preparation.
- Monitor office supply levels and submit supply orders when needed.
- Assist with various operational projects as directed by management.
General Support Duties
- Provide day-to-day support for agents, including basic troubleshooting and answering administrative questions.
- Coordinate with other departments to help maintain smooth workflows.
- Represent the administrative team with professionalism, accuracy, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience in insurance contracting, licensing, or administrative work preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Zoho CRM is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
