We, GridSource, is seeking a Foreman who will be responsible for safely operating the directional drilling, plowing, and other construction endeavors by GridSource. The responsibilities include but are not limited to, understanding elevation changes and making informed decisions on depths to drill at to avoid hitting underground utilities.

What will you do:
- Operate the drill rig efficiently and safely
- Navigate drill head to avoid utilities and maintain correct depths
- Inspect and fuel vehicles before shifts
- Learn and independently operate facility equipment
- Use all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Stay updated on industry technological advancements
- Communicate effectively to resolve issues
- Support team efforts and uphold GridSource's mission and values
- Maintain a positive work environment and build professional relationships
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Follow GridSource policies and procedures
What you will need:
- Valid CDL required
- Read, interpret, and update construction prints and as-built
- Supervise and manage technician crews
- Experience setting poles, hanging aerial cable, and completing pole attachments
- Minimum 5 years of experience in underground telecom/broadband construction
- Prior broadband industry experience required
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and lead crews effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of construction practices, NEC, OSHA regulations, and safety standards
- High school diploma or GED required; college, vocational training, and NCTI/SCTE or similar certifications preferred
- Physically able to lift up to 95 lbs., climb a 32-foot ladder, and work in loud, outdoor environments year-round
- Willingness to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
