Laundry Production Operator-Northside

Plant Worker

Job description: Sorting, washing, folding, and transporting linen throughout the facility. Counting and packing items according to customer order requests. Properly utilize facility equipment to complete daily production needs. Communicate product defects, equipment malfunctions and errors to supervisor or maintenance team. Adhere to all plant safety protocols including but not limited to company and OSHA standards. Maintain a clean working environment. Work collaboratively to meet company goals.

Soil Distribution Department: Sort all soiled linen throughout the day.

Reports to: Plant Supervisor

Requirements:

• Flexibility and adaptability

• Communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to stand 8-10 hours consistently

• Ability to work in hot and humid environments

• Must have or be willing to obtain COVID vaccination

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain established productivity standards

• Inspect all linen to ensure quality standards are maintained

• Follow all health and safety standards throughout the facility

• Maintain organization within personal and shared workspaces

• Report equipment malfunctions, linen defects or shortages, and safety hazards appropriately

• Maintain company-wide DART accident rate at or below 2

• Other duties as assigned
