LPN Responsibilities Include:
- Providing essential hands-on care such as taking vitals, administering medications, and recording health histories
- Assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
- Communicating with residents, families, and the care team about changes in health or behavior
- Monitoring residents' health status and reporting needs to nursing leadership or providers
- Educating residents and families on treatments, medications, and care plans
- Applying and changing bandages to support healing
- Aiding residents with mobility and transfers
- Maintaining accurate, confidential medical records
