We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the right items are picked, in the correct quantities, and that they are handled with care to prevent damage. This is a critical position within our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on pick lists or digital scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided).
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is an advantage.
Requirements:
This role requires standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. You must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Adherence to all company safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality and efficiency in all tasks.
