Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Receive incoming materials, verify shipments, and report discrepancies.
- Stock and organize materials in warehouse racking systems.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and adjustments.
- Maintain equipment in good working order and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean to ensure optimal safety and efficiency.
- Support overall logistics and supply chain operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 60 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in performing physical tasks associated with material handling.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to job duties.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
