Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious team.
- Manage inventory control systems, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Plan and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of all trucks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse facility.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and equipment.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to logistics and operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and logistics operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
