Your primary responsibilities will include accurately picking items from our inventory based on customer orders and carefully packing them for secure shipment. This role demands precision, speed, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages correctly for outbound logistics.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to meeting daily picking and packing targets.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies with orders or inventory to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to perform moderate physical activity, including Lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
