Join our bustling warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland as a Picker/Packer. This role is essential to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You will be responsible for picking products from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for outbound logistics. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for outbound logistics.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Adhere to all Lifting requirements and guidelines.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and labels.
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety principles.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
