We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving items from warehouse shelves, verifying order accuracy, and carefully packing them for delivery. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify the quantity and quality of picked items before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient operations and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity targets while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
