We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Associate for our facility in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. Your attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures are key to your success. You will be an essential part of our logistics team, contributing to the smooth flow of products from our warehouse to our customers. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and require adherence to all Safety regulations and the use of proper PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform physical tasks including regular Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
- Ensure efficient movement and handling of all goods within the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must wear required PPE.
