About

We are seeking a driven Engineering Manager to lead the development and ongoing improvement of a new entertainment app for iOS and Android. You will oversee the app’s technical direction, ensure seamless integration with backend systems and related products, and guide a cross-functional, hybrid development team. Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, effective people management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, user-focused mobile experiences in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management. Contribute to technical design, drive engineering initiatives, and influence product strategy. Ensure the timely, high-quality delivery of new features and improvements. Act as the primary liaison with Product, Design, and other engineering teams. Communicate progress, priorities, and vision clearly to stakeholders. Maintain strong operational health through effective agile practices and continuous improvement. Strong engineering background with significant experience managing native mobile teams, ideally across both iOS and Android. Ability to cultivate collaboration within distributed teams. Solid problem-solving abilities and hands-on coding experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Deep understanding of iOS and Android ecosystems, including defining tools, processes, and workflows for high-quality app delivery. Experience with mobile ecommerce or booking-focused digital experiences
