Gloucester – On-site 3 days per week Salary:
£50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience) Note:
All applicants must be able to work in the UK without VISA Sponsorship We are seeking an experienced Test & Verification Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is a hybrid role based in Gloucester, with an expectation of on-site working three days per week. An ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of commercial experience across all aspects of validation and verification throughout the full product development lifecycle, with a strong technical background in testing embedded software on electronic systems. Key Responsibilities
Design & develop comprehensive verification test plans Prepare repeatable and reliable test cases aligned with system requirements Perform embedded software testing, utilising automation where possible Conduct hands-on hardware testing using laboratory equipment Review and refine requirements to ensure they are clear, measurable, and testable Analyse test data and produce clear reports Required Experience
Expertise in defining and implementing V&V strategies Formal software testing, including manual and automated test case development Proven experience testing embedded systems Experience using requirements management tools and processes Able to interpret technical documentation, including electronic schematics and datasheets Ability to operate laboratory instrumentation and test equipment Good experience working in Agile development environments Benefits
