About
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled *Electrical Superintendent* to oversee electrical construction projects within the heavy civil and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will lead electrical teams, coordinate with project management, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and technical schematics.
*Duties*
* Lead and supervise electrical construction teams on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
* Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to meet project deadlines.
* Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems.
* Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to maintain project flow.
* Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in construction estimating to optimize resource allocation.
* Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specifications and industry standards.
* Oversee safety compliance on-site, enforce OSHA regulations, and conduct safety meetings regularly.
* Manage change orders, contracts, and project documentation using tools like ProCore and Bluebeam.
* Provide supervision for field personnel, including training, performance evaluations, and resolving on-site issues.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to facilitate clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
*Skills*
* Extensive experience in *construction management*, *project scheduling*, and *supervising* electrical teams on large-scale projects.
* Proficiency with *Primavera P6*, *Primavera*, *HeavyBid*, *Construction management software*, *Bluebeam*, and *ProCore*.
* Strong knowledge of *blueprint reading*, *schematics*, *construction estimating*, *budgeting*, and *contracts* management.
* Technical expertise in electrical systems including troubleshooting with an *ohmmeter* and understanding of *construction site experience* related to electrical infrastructure.
* Familiarity with *OSHA* regulations, safety protocols, and quality control procedures in a construction environment.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics for complex electrical systems within pipeline or heavy civil projects.
* Excellent leadership skills with proven experience supervising diverse teams in fast-paced construction settings. This position offers an opportunity to lead impactful projects while working with a dynamic team committed to excellence in construction delivery.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
