About
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced IT Support professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in providing a broad range of technical assistance and support with at least 6 years experience working in an MSP and demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to analyse and resolve issues efficiently. You will play a vital role in maintaining the functionality of our customer's IT infrastructure and ensuring that users have a seamless experience.
*Responsibilities*
* Taking the lead on projects
* Provide account management for key customers
* Support other engineers
* Troubleshoot software problems, ensuring timely resolution to minimise downtime.
* Assist with the installation and configuration of operating systems and software applications.
* Manage help desk requests, ensuring all tickets are logged and tracked effectively.
* Conduct analysis of network issues, including firewall configurations and computer networking challenges.
* Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
* Collaborate with other IT team members to enhance system performance and user satisfaction.
*Skills*
* Some MCSE certifications would be preferable
* Proficiency in desktop support and troubleshooting across various operating systems.
* Strong understanding of computer networking principles and firewall management.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with users at all levels.
* Ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical solutions quickly.
* A proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £34,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
