We are currently seeking a Designer Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years' design experience to join a highly creative and fast-paced design team in Billericay. This role is ideal for a commercially minded designer who thrives in high-energy project environments and is confident taking ownership of projects from concept through to production. The business operates at a rapid pace, delivering innovative design solutions - therefore experience working in fast-moving project environments is essential. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop display units and environments from concept to manufacture. Produce detailed technical drawings and design packs for production. Work with minimal supervision from the senior design team, confidently managing your own projects. Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure designs are delivered accurately and on time. Apply strong practical knowledge of materials and construction methods to deliver high-quality, buildable designs. Essential Experience And Skills
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a professional design role. Proven experience designing with:
Woodwork / Joinery Acrylics and Plastics Metalwork Vacuum Forming
Excellent understanding of how units and components are assembled and manufactured. Ability to work at pace and manage multiple fast-moving projects. Strong technical drawing and detailing ability. Confident, proactive, and comfortable working with limited guidance. Benefits
