Level 1 Systems Administrator

SaferWay Technologies provides outsourced Managed IT Services to businesses in the Greater Atlanta area, with a primary focus on the healthcare industry. SaferWay is seeking a qualified, professional, and motivated Level 1 Systems Administrator. The Level 1 Systems Administrator will be a key member of the service delivery operations to our clients. The individual will be responsible for providing support related to hardware, software and application issues in an efficient accurate manner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 1 support support with hardware, software and application issues over email, phone or in-person
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by users
• Assist and/or Lead in IT project implementations
• Document incidents and their resolution in our internal help desk ticketing software

Qualifications

• Engaged in information technology or related field of study
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within IT
• Current working knowledge of servers, virtualization, firewalls, switches, wireless, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, remote access, Microsoft Office, and common Windows-based applications
• Current working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, file sharing, server migrations, and Windows server support
