Position Title: Level 2 Security Guard

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a professional and dependable Level 2 Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises, enforcing safety regulations, and responding to incidents as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to ensure safety and security.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Enforce company and client-specific rules, regulations, and policies.
• Prepare detailed and accurate daily activity, incident, and investigation reports.
• Conduct bag checks, ID verification, and security screenings when required.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Level 2 Security Guard license (or equivalent state certification).
• High school diploma or GED required; additional training in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• OC Spray
• Handcuffing

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
• Experience in access control, surveillance monitoring, or emergency response.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
