About
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile Control Systems IT Administrator Administrator to provide comprehensive technical, IT, and operational support for a government client's Energy Management Control System (EMCS). This role combines responsibilities across system administration, field service, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and operational troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is a multifaceted professional who can confidently manage industrial control systems, maintain IT infrastructure, perform hands-on field work, and ensure reliable EMCS performance across multiple facilities.
Note: Demonstrated experience with Siemens control systems is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Key Responsibilities
System & Security Administration
- Provide subject matter expertise in cybersecurity as it relates to EMCS and industrial control systems.
- Configure, implement, and maintain EMCS security controls and system-hardening measures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system performance, connectivity, and data integrity across all EMCS components.
IT Infrastructure Management
- Configure, maintain, and support EMCS infrastructure, including workstations, servers, networks, and enterprise software.
- Manage programmable field devices, controllers, and building automation equipment to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Perform system backups, including JACE controllers and field device configurations, and ensure disaster-recovery readiness.
- Optimize internal IT and network architecture supporting EMCS operations.
Field Service & Operational Support
- Diagnose and resolve HVAC control and functional operational issues.
- Conduct on-site field work to inspect, repair, or replace devices, equipment, and system components.
- Coordinate procurement of replacement parts and components as needed.
- Work with government communications and network teams to resolve system outages, connectivity issues, and performance disruptions.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the government client to ensure EMCS operational requirements are fully met.
- Coordinate activities related to maintenance, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and status updates to stakeholders.
Pay: $105, $120,000.00 per year
