What You'll Do

We're looking for an Associate Actuary or Assistant Financial Director to join our Financial Reporting team In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the forecast model and driving the forecast process.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency of modeling, researching results, and improving the forecasting process.
  • Responsible for the review and analysis of the financial forecast, synthesizing and communicating the key metrics and messages, and working with business management to ensure alignment on assumptions and results.
  • Apply actuarial analysis in the development and maintenance of sound, efficient, and accurate systems to support calculations and recommendations.
  • This role may have future people leadership opportunities.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 6+ years of experience required
  • Basic knowledge of business field supported
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements as specified by either SOA or AAA
  • Good communication skills and knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or ability to learn, are preferred

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • MG-ALFA experience
  • A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, or global equivalent, or Enrolled Actuary
  • Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, the Actuarial Standards of Practice promulgated by the Actuarial Standards Board, and the Code of Professional Conduct of the AAA and the SoA
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
