Information Technology Network Manager

We are seeking an experienced Network Manager with a strong background in Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience managing enterprise network environments, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee daily operations, guide a team of network engineers, and drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Operations & Management

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise networks using Cisco Meraki and Fortinet solutions.

• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances to ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.

• Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers and administrators.

• Collaborate with IT leadership to align network strategy with business objectives.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated network issues.

• Security & Compliance

• Implement and enforce network security best practices across Cisco Meraki and Fortinet platforms.

• Conduct regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Project Management

• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption.

• Prepare and present reports on network performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Network Manager or in a senior network engineering role.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Cisco Meraki (switching, wireless, SD-WAN).

• Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls, Fortinet VPNs, and security appliances.

• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and Layer 2/3 technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud networking integrations (Azure, AWS, or similar).

• Certifications (Preferred):

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.

• Fortinet NSE certifications.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.
