We are seeking a
senior-level ETL/Informatica Developer
with proven experience in
large-scale DDI (Design, Development, and Implementation) projects
. This is a hands-on development role focused on building robust ETL solutions for enterprise data warehouse environments. Candidates must have
strong SQL development skills
and the ability to design and optimize complex queries for high-volume data processing.
Industry experience in healthcare, Medicaid, Medicare, or government data systems is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead
end-to-end ETL development
using
Informatica PowerCenter
, including mappings, sessions, and workflows for large-scale implementations. - Architect and implement
data integration strategies
for high-volume, multi-source environments. - Develop complex SQL queries and scripts
for data transformation, performance tuning, and data mart creation in
Teradata
. - Optimize ETL performance through advanced tuning and automation techniques.
- Collaborate with technical leads and business teams to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth deployment across development, UAT, and production environments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years
of ETL development experience with
Informatica PowerCenter
. - 5+ years
of hands-on
SQL development experience
, including writing and optimizing complex queries. - 5+ years
working with
Teradata
(Version 15+) and Teradata utilities (Fastload, TPT, Multiload). - Strong experience in
large-scale DDI efforts
, not just operational support. - Proficiency in
Unix Shell scripting
. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with
Azure Data Factory
and
Snowflake
. - Familiarity with
Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
and metadata management tools. - Experience with State Medicaid / Medicare / Healthcare applications
and compliance requirements. - Agile development experience.
- Knowledge of data modeling tools such as ERWIN.
