Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and accommodated.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout each interaction.
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences.
• Manage tables efficiently by coordinating with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and delivery.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and issuing receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and food safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support during busy periods if needed, demonstrating versatility within the food service environment.
• Support team members in maintaining a lively nightclub or fine dining atmosphere that emphasizes guest satisfaction and safety.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced setting is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential for order processing and cashiering tasks.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with multiple tables or sections.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest relations.
• Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing are required.
