Cleaner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. This role is essential in ensuring that facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for all occupants.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming.
• Conduct custodial duties including dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the upkeep of the environment.
• Execute industrial cleaning procedures for specialized equipment and areas as required.
• Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with any additional cleaning needs.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.
• Knowledge of residential painting can be beneficial but is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Fluent in English
