Lifeguard

Job Summary

We are hiring Lifeguards for the upcoming season beginning in March to provide professional lifeguard services at community pools, residential facilities, and private events. This role involves monitoring aquatic environments, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies while representing our company in a professional manner at contracted locations.

Both certified lifeguards and individuals interested in becoming certified are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies
• Enforce pool safety rules and facility regulations
• Provide lifeguard coverage at contracted sites, including private events
• Administer first aid, CPR, and emergency care as needed
• Assist guests and maintain a professional, customer-focused presence
• Perform basic pool checks, equipment inspections, and site setup as required

Qualifications

• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (CPR/AED & First Aid) preferred but not required
• Strong swimming ability and ability to perform water rescues
• Prior lifeguard experience is a plus
• Ability to stay alert, calm, and professional in high-pressure situations
• Flexible availability, including weekends and event-based shifts

Certification Option

Applicants who are not yet certified may enroll in our Red Cross Lifeguard Certification classes.

• Certification cost: $200 upfront
• Full reimbursement after 3 months of employment

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
