Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicles along specified routes, ensuring passenger safety at all times
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and support
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures during every shift
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and passenger counts for reporting purposes
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding route updates or issues
• Handle light cargo or equipment deliveries as needed, including heavy lifting when required

Skills

• Proven experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, or as a delivery driver with a strong safety record
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and licensing requirements (e.g., driver license)
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with loading/unloading cargo or equipment
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics to identify potential issues early
• Experience in paratransit or school bus driving is a plus but not required
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
