Position Summary

The Solutions Consultant acts as the bridge between consulting sales and implementation, ensuring client expectations are met with practical, scalable solutions. This role is sales-focused with strong customer-facing and presentation skills, responsible for solution ideation, design, and client discovery. The Solutions Consultant ensures smooth communication between customers and developers, aligning what is promised with what is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution ideation and design sessions with prospects and clients
• Conduct discovery to clarify business needs, processes, and requirements
• Translate business needs into actionable solution designs for development teams
• Deliver polished solution presentations and design recommendations
• Ensure alignment between customer expectations and technical feasibility
• Act as client advocate during implementation, maintaining satisfaction and trust
• Collaborate closely with developers, project managers, and consultants to deliver solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand solutions and strengthen partnerships
• Support sales enablement with design input and solution storytelling

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in solutions architecture, consulting, or client-facing technical roles
• Proven ability to design and present solutions that meet client business goals
• Strong sales presentation and communication skills with executive presence, combining business acumen and a solution-oriented mindset
• Experience working in post-sale, solution delivery, or implementation environments
• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical design
• Experience drafting IT project scopes of work
• Knowledge of software development lifecycles and enterprise solution design
• Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in food, regulatory, or compliance technology industries, with additional background in enterprise supply chain or process manufacturing systems
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, APIs, systems integration, and enterprise software architecture, with exposure to agile delivery and digital solutions
• Background in consulting or professional services organizations
