Job Description:

Mobile Storage Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and professional Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic operations team. This is a unique role that combines standard intermodal container transport with specialized delivery system responsibilities. We need a reliable operator who can navigate busy port and rail yard environments, expertly manage cargo securement, interact professionally with clients, and efficiently utilize our cutting-edge logistics technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle for local and regional intermodal container deliveries to and from clients, ports, and rail yards.
• Perform services with specialized towing and customized trailer equipment.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, documenting all findings accurately in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients during pickups, deliveries, maintaining professionalism even in high-pressure scenarios.
• Ensure all cargo, including overseas containers and "white box" containers are properly loaded, secured, and meets weight distribution standards.
• Maintain accurate digital and physical logs of working hours and delivery records.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid Class A CDL: A current and unrestricted Class A Commercial Driver's License is mandatory.
• Towing Experience: Proven experience operating a tow truck (flatbed carrier preferred).
• Port/Intermodal Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with container operations (20ft, 40ft) and navigating secure port/rail facilities.
• Clean Driving Record: A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 5 years.
• Computer Skills: High comfort level with technology and the ability to use tablets, smartphones, and proprietary software for job management and communication.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and calmly with clients and dispatchers.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, lifting up to 50+ lbs, and securing loads in various weather conditions.
