We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support the kitchen staff.
• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are clean and stored properly after use.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation practices within the hospitality industry.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to help others as needed.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
