We are seeking an experienced, organized, and people-focused HR Director / Scheduler to support both our workforce operations and nursing leadership. Human Resources Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations for the facility, including employee relations, onboarding, and compliance
- Develop, post, and manage employment ads and recruitment initiatives, including job fairs
- Lead the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process for new employees
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and HR records
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and OSHA regulations
- Support payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation
- Ensure employee policies, procedures, and facility standards are consistently followed
- Serve as a resource to leadership and staff regarding HR policies and workplace concerns
Scheduling & Staffing Operations
- Work directly with the Director of Nursing to create and maintain schedules for all nursing departments
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet census and regulatory requirements
- Proactively fill open shifts using internal staffing solutions and creative scheduling strategies
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to support staffing needs and operational efficiency
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Develop and maintain systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across HR and staffing functions
- Demonstrate professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive employee information
- Support a positive workplace culture through clear communication and staff engagement
- Experience as an HR Manager, HR Director, Scheduler, or Staffing Coordinator in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility required
- High school diploma required; some college preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and OSHA regulations
