Position Summary:

Delta is currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals (DSP's)

Full-Time and  Part-Time 

Shifts: PT - Sunday & Monday 3p - 11p 

PT - Friday & Saturday 9a - 3p 

FT - Tuesday - Saturday 3p-11p 

Must have Intellectual Disability (IDD/DDD) Support Experience.  Applicants must be willing to provide hands-on personal care, including assistance with toileting and maintaining personal hygiene.

  • Document all relevant information about the individuals you support while on shift.
  • Attend mandated trainings and meetings to become proficient in supporting I/DD individuals.
  • Supervise, report on, document, and assist individuals who may have behavioral or medical concerns.
  • Assist individuals in living a quality life by helping them complete daily routines such as eating, toileting, showering, meal prep, and recreation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One (1) year of caregiving work history
  • Valid driver's license with three (3) years of satisfactory driving history
  • Must be able to complete 1 week paid training Monday - Friday 9a-5p 

Minimum requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain composure in high-pressure or crisis situations.
  • Ability to build trusting, supportive, and respectful relationships with individuals receiving services.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and all required pre-employment screenings

  • Good written and verbal communication skills. Including willingness to learn sign language if needed.
