Position Summary*Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, approximately 3:45 PM to 12:45.
The Program Manager supports the Director of Residential Operations with oversight for the Lead Behavioral Health Technicians (Lead BHTs) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) team at a designated facility. Responsibilities include training, scheduling, direct supervision, and ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and state regulations. Additionally, the Program Manager collaborates with the Director of Residential Operations to maintain client safety and deliver exceptional customer service. Position provides support to staff and clients through various clinical and administrative activities, aiming to achieve optimal client outcomes.

Position ResponsibilitiesEssential Responsibilities
- Provides immediate supervision for PM and Overnight Lead BHTs and BHTs to ensure client safety and operational effectiveness.
- Manages scheduling, staffing levels, meal and rest break adherence, overtime, and resource allocation for efficient operations.
- Overseed BHT daily operations, ensuring all team responsibilities are completed.
- Participated in hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and conducting annual employee evaluations.
- Ensured staff adherence to treatment plans and facility protocols, collaborating with clinical and nursing teams, as needed.
- Leads meetings for the BHT team and engage them in performance improvement initiatives, as needed.
- Ensures compliance with licensure and accreditation standards, state and federal laws, and best practices while maintaining program quality.
- Upholds the organization's values and cultural beliefs in client treatment.
- Fosters client involvement in their treatment journey.
- Supports routine forms of daily client care while assisting and ensuring timely and effective clinical activities, charting, and orientation completion.
- Collaborates with clinical team members to ensure appropriate emotional support is provided to clients.
- Communicates pertinent client information to the clinical team promptly.
- Maintains timely/clinically appropriate documentation, ensuring BHTs are trained in and adhere to documentation processes.
- Assists with the timely completion of administrative duties, including but not limited to checklists, Relias adherence, answering phones, scheduling, and auditing for compliance purposes.
- Submits and track work orders for facility maintenance.
- Serves as a trainer and mentor to the BHTs, providing coaching for continuous quality improvement.
- Address and resolve operational challenges, escalating issues as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities
- Functions within the guidelines of the facility's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance.
- Conducts chart audits following program policy timelines, as requested.
- Conducts ObservSmart and Relia's audits following program policy timelines, as requested.
- Conducts tours for clients, family members, students, and visitors, as requested.
- Consistently arrives to work on time and promptly notifies supervisor when absent.
- Reads, understands, adheres to, and models all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of interests.
- Maintains a positive attitude and acts as a team player with others on the treatment team.
- Attends all supervisory training within assigned time frames as required by the facility.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
The position requires a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Health & Human Service Field, preferably within a behavioral healthcare treatment setting, and 1+ years of supervision experience
A valid Driver's license and a generally clean driving record are required. Employees may be required to drive personal or company vehicles.
State licensing DHS and DSS prohibit individuals with specific criminal charges, conducted by Livescan fingerprint checks. Exemptions offered.
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against companies of similar size within the behavioral healthcare industry. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
