Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall dining experience by providing clean tools and maintaining a hygienic kitchen area. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and attention to detail are key qualities for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and prep work when required
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Assist with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas
- Support catering and banquet events by managing dishware and cleaning needs during functions
- Follow proper procedures for handling food items to uphold hygiene standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as necessary
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary activities is a plus but not required
- Previous hotel or banquet experience is advantageous but not essential
