Duties
- Lead the development and execution of innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure efficiency and excellence.
- Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining optimal stock levels to minimize waste and control costs.
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper handling procedures across all kitchen activities.
- Coordinate with catering, banquet, and restaurant teams to deliver seamless service during events and regular service hours.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to foster a motivated team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Monitor food production processes, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety are upheld at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with a strong background in food production and restaurant management.
- Extensive banquet experience combined with supervising teams in high-volume settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in dietary department operations, catering services, and food handling procedures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple shifts effectively while maintaining team morale.
- Proficiency in inventory management, menu planning, and kitchen workflow optimization.
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, HACCP protocols, and overall food industry regulations.
