Job Overview

Responsibilities
Assist senior electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities. Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project planning and execution. Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot and ensure proper wiring connections. Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following safety standards and NEC guidelines. Participate in construction activities such as framing carpentry related to electrical infrastructure. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols, including proper handling of electrical components and tools. Assist with conducting inspections, testing circuits, and documenting work progress for project records.

Experience
Previous experience working on construction sites or in a related trades environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical systems enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices is beneficial. Knowledge of low voltage systems, high voltage safety practices, and NEC standards will support your growth as an electrician apprentice. Construction or frame carpentry experience provides valuable foundational skills for this apprenticeship. A strong desire to learn, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
