Dishwasher

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are properly sanitized and available for food service operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting the culinary and hospitality experience.

Duties

• Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas to meet health and safety standards
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic cutting or assembling ingredients when required
• Help with general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal in the kitchen and dining areas
• Support catering events or banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are maintained at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff and servers
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds), and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
