Join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as a Material Handler. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. Your tasks will include receiving, storing, and preparing items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our operations and supporting our supply chain. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload materials from incoming shipments.
- Sort, label, and store materials in designated locations.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Perform duties involving Lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks. Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management is a plus. Commitment to following safety guidelines and performing duties efficiently.
